What does Alu-Rex make?

Gutter Clean Pro®

Alu-Rex’s top two-layer guard. The RollBack™ curved front edge catches water that would overflow in a downpour and sends it back into the gutter. Eclipse™ offset holes let water drain while keeping out pine needles and leaves. Vortex™, the gap between the two layers, helps pull more water through. Backed by a lifetime clog-free warranty.

Gutter Clean System®

A single-layer aluminum guard. Precisely sized holes let water in and keep debris out, and the sturdy aluminum holds up to freezing, thawing and snow. Alu-Rex backs it with a 25-year warranty against manufacturing defects and clogging.

T-Rex® gutter brackets

Not a guard, but a system that holds your gutters up. It makes a new gutter about 50% stronger than one hung with nails or hooks. It holds up to 250 pounds per foot and keeps the gutter from bending or twisting. We hang all our gutters on it as standard.

DoublePro®

A two-in-one gutter protection system built for severe North American weather. It’s designed to keep your gutters clear of ice and debris year after year.

Why does Alu-Rex suit Western Washington?

Two features matter most here. The first is the curved front edge. In heavy rain, water can shoot right over the front of the gutter. A curved front edge pulls that water back in, which a flat cover can’t do. The second is that these guards are solid aluminum, not mesh, foam or plastic. Aluminum holds up to freezing, thawing and wet snow. It also doesn’t fill up with rotting needles the way foam and brush inserts do.

What will Alu-Rex guards do, and not do?

We sell these guards, so keep that in mind. But we’d rather set the right expectations. Under leafy trees, these systems get you close to maintenance-free. Under Douglas fir or cedar, expect much less work, not zero work, with the guard needing a brush-off now and then. Read the full picture in do gutter guards work with fir needles.

How do you get Alu-Rex installed?

  • On new gutters: installed at the same time as the gutters. This costs the least, because the crew and labor are already there.
  • On existing gutters: possible if your gutters are in good shape, angled correctly and firmly attached. We’ll check first and let you know if they’re not.
  • Free estimate: measured and in writing, with the exact product named so you can compare it with other quotes.

Where does Pro Flow install Alu-Rex?

Common questions

No. They’re different companies with different designs. Alu-Rex is perforated aluminum, LeafFilter is stainless micro-mesh, and Gutter Helmet is a curved hood. Each has its fans. What matters more than the brand is a guard that suits the debris at your house, on gutters that are in good shape.

The lifetime clog-free warranty applies to Gutter Clean Pro. The Gutter Clean System carries a 25-year warranty, and DoublePro a lifetime warranty, per the Alu-Rex warranty page. It’s a manufacturer’s warranty that the product will perform as promised. We’ll give you the warranty documents with your quote so you can read the terms before you decide.

No, as long as your current gutters are in good condition. More on adding guards to existing gutters.

Yes. Alu-Rex lists certified installers across the state. We cover Snohomish, north and east King, and Skagit Counties. If you’re outside that area, Alu-Rex’s installer locator can point you to someone closer.
