Glen and Alex were great to work with. Very responsive, easy to schedule, their quote was less than others I got, and most importantly their gutter fab and install was flawless. Great local company!Posted on Google![]()

The Pro-Flow Gutters Company replaced all my gutters and downspouts in October 2024. When I recently reported a water intrusion issue, Glen, the owner, responded promptly and scheduled an inspection within two days. Glen’s initial theory was that a sealant used at the junction where the downspout, T-Rex, and gutter meet might have caused the water intrusion. He personally investigated the issue rather than delegating it to his team and discovered another sealant inside the gutter that may have restricted water flow. That sealant had likely been applied by my roofing company during a previous roofing modification. To resolve the problem, Glen removed all the sealant, then replaced the existing T-Rex with a new one after creating a proper downspout opening instead of using any sealant. The result looks clean and professional. I was also pleased to see that he used a brand-new T-Rex piece instead of reusing or patching the old one. In addition, his team member, Alex, was very kind and took the time to locate and pick up many nails left behind by my roofing company. I truly appreciated Glen and his team’s prompt response, thorough investigation, and high-quality workmanship.Posted on Google![]()

We had a gutter hit by tree branch - was going to replace all the gutters . We called Pro Flo Gutters , Glen and Alex came out and suggested not to replace them all just the damaged areas and a couple down spouts that were not working properly . They saved us a ton of money by being honest . We had another company come out for a bid and they wanted over $ 4,ooo.oo . We can't thank them enough because we are SC and are on a fixed income - Great Family owned Bus We suggest them to all of our family and friendsPosted on Google![]()

They were so responsive when I asked for a quote. They scheduled me right away and came out and did an excellent job! They are professional, friendly, and do super work. I am very pleased and will recommend them to everyone. The cost was literally half of what one of the "name brand" outfits quoted me. These guys are the best!Posted on Google![]()

Gutters come in three main shapes. K-style is the standard shape on most homes here, with a front that looks like crown molding. Fascia-style is a deeper gutter with a flat front. It attaches straight to the ends of the roof rafters and takes the place of the fascia board. S-Line has a curved front for a softer, more traditional look. All three are made from the same high-grade aluminum and carry the same warranties. The choice comes down to how you want your house to look and how much water your roof sheds.
What are fascia-style gutters?
A fascia gutter has a tall, flat front and attaches directly to the ends of the roof rafters. It replaces the fascia board (the board regular gutters attach to) instead of hanging from it. That gives you two benefits. First, you get a clean, straight line along the roof that suits modern and mid-century homes, where standard gutters can look busy. Second, it’s deeper than a standard gutter, so it holds more water for its width.
It’s a good choice for newer homes, homes with exposed rafter ends, and long, straight rooflines where a clean line stands out. It’s less suited to homes with lots of short sections and corners.
If the existing fascia board (the board your gutters attach to) has rotted, we replace it while we hang the new gutters, so nothing goes up on bad wood.
What are S-Line gutters?
S-Line gutters have a curved front instead of the standard (K-style) shape. The look is softer and more traditional, which suits craftsman, farmhouse and cottage-style homes. The curve also helps water flow smoothly through the gutter.
Like all our gutters, S-Line gutters are high-grade aluminum. They don’t rust, their color lasts, and they’re light enough to hang on full-length brackets without straining the board behind them.
How do you choose between fascia and S-Line gutters?
| Style | Best suited to | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| K-style | Most homes in this area | The standard choice. The most sizes and colors, the lowest cost, and a familiar look. |
| Fascia-style | Modern and mid-century homes, exposed rafter ends | Holds lots of water, very clean line. Replaces the fascia board, so installation takes more carpentry. |
| S-Line | Craftsman, farmhouse and traditional homes | Softer curved look. Water flows smoothly. |
Does the gutter style affect performance?
Less than size does. A big gutter of either style holds more than a small one. If your gutters can’t keep up with the rain, the fix is bigger gutters or more downspouts, not a different style. Our sizing guide explains how to choose. Once the size is right, the style is about how your house looks.
We make both styles on site as part of our seamless gutter installation, and both can take Alu-Rex gutter guards. If the board behind your current gutters is soft, we’ll point it out and fix it first as part of gutter repair.
Common questions
Can I mix styles on one house?
Yes, and sometimes it makes sense, like on an addition with a very different roofline. Usually, though, it looks like a mistake. We generally recommend one style for the whole house.
Do gutter guards fit these styles?
Yes. Alu-Rex guards come in versions for different gutter styles, and we’ll choose the right one at your estimate. More on gutter guards.
