Glen and Alex were great to work with. Very responsive, easy to schedule, their quote was less than others I got, and most importantly their gutter fab and install was flawless. Great local company!Posted on Google![]()

The Pro-Flow Gutters Company replaced all my gutters and downspouts in October 2024. When I recently reported a water intrusion issue, Glen, the owner, responded promptly and scheduled an inspection within two days. Glen’s initial theory was that a sealant used at the junction where the downspout, T-Rex, and gutter meet might have caused the water intrusion. He personally investigated the issue rather than delegating it to his team and discovered another sealant inside the gutter that may have restricted water flow. That sealant had likely been applied by my roofing company during a previous roofing modification. To resolve the problem, Glen removed all the sealant, then replaced the existing T-Rex with a new one after creating a proper downspout opening instead of using any sealant. The result looks clean and professional. I was also pleased to see that he used a brand-new T-Rex piece instead of reusing or patching the old one. In addition, his team member, Alex, was very kind and took the time to locate and pick up many nails left behind by my roofing company. I truly appreciated Glen and his team’s prompt response, thorough investigation, and high-quality workmanship.Posted on Google![]()

We had a gutter hit by tree branch - was going to replace all the gutters . We called Pro Flo Gutters , Glen and Alex came out and suggested not to replace them all just the damaged areas and a couple down spouts that were not working properly . They saved us a ton of money by being honest . We had another company come out for a bid and they wanted over $ 4,ooo.oo . We can't thank them enough because we are SC and are on a fixed income - Great Family owned Bus We suggest them to all of our family and friendsPosted on Google![]()

They were so responsive when I asked for a quote. They scheduled me right away and came out and did an excellent job! They are professional, friendly, and do super work. I am very pleased and will recommend them to everyone. The cost was literally half of what one of the "name brand" outfits quoted me. These guys are the best!Posted on Google![]()

Gutter guards are covers that fit over your gutters. They let water in and keep debris out. Good guards mean you clean your gutters much less often, but not never. In a This Old House homeowner survey, 17% of people never had to clean their gutters again after installing guards, and 41% still cleaned once a year. Anyone who promises you’ll never touch your gutters again is overselling, especially under fir trees. We install Alu-Rex guards and will explain what they can and can’t do on your house.
Which gutter guard systems do we install?
Gutter Clean Pro®
Alu-Rex’s strongest guard, with two layers. A curved front edge catches water that would overflow in heavy rain and sends it back into the gutter. Small holes let water in and keep needles and leaves out, and the two layers help it drain even more water. Alu-Rex backs it with a lifetime clog-free warranty.
Gutter Clean System®
A single-layer aluminum guard. Small holes let water through and keep debris out. The aluminum holds up to freezing winters and the weight of wet snow. Alu-Rex backs it with a 25-year warranty against manufacturing defects and clogging.
Will guards work on my house?
It depends on what trees are over your roof. Here’s a quick guide:
| What is over your roof | What guards will do |
|---|---|
| Maples, alders, birch — broad leaves | Excellent. Leaves sit on top and blow or wash off. Close to maintenance-free. |
| Douglas fir, cedar, hemlock — fine needles | Good, not perfect. Needles are the hardest debris to keep out. Expect to brush the top of the guard now and then, instead of digging out the gutter. |
| Heavy moss on the roof itself | Guards help, but moss is a roof problem. Treating the roof matters more than the guard. |
| No trees over the roof | Guards may not be worth the money. |

Can guards go on existing gutters?
Yes. You don’t need new gutters to get guards. If your seamless gutters are in good shape, angled correctly and firmly attached, we can fit Alu-Rex guards over them. We won’t put guards on gutters that sag, leak at the joints or are pulling loose. That just delays the same problem. We’ll tell you which is the case at the estimate.
Guards work best on gutters that are in good shape. If yours are failing, we can pair guards with seamless gutter installation or gutter repair. If you’re not ready for guards, gutter cleaning keeps water flowing in the meantime. Guards help most in areas with lots of fir trees, like Duvall and Woodinville.
Common questions
Do gutter guards work in heavy rain?
Good ones do. In heavy rain, water can shoot right over the front of a cheap guard instead of going in. Gutter Clean Pro’s curved front edge is designed to catch that water and send it back into the gutter.
Will guards stop ice damming?
No. Ice dams are caused by heat escaping through the roof, not by the gutter. Aluminum guards do hold up to freezing and thawing far better than plastic or foam inserts.
Can I still get the gutters cleaned with guards on?
Yes. Alu-Rex guards don’t have to be torn off to clean the gutters. Most homes with guards just need the top brushed off, not the gutter emptied.
Are foam or brush inserts a cheaper option?
They’re cheaper up front, but they don’t last here. Fine needles get stuck in foam and brush inserts and rot into a soggy plug that holds water in the gutter. That’s worse than having no guard at all.
